The author should provide manuscripts as electronic files. The manuscript formatting requirements are: a) Use MS Word, 12 pt Times New Roman; b) Use Indonesian or English U.S. as the language; c) Use the metric system throughout; e) Avoid text footnotes; they should be incorporated into the text. The manuscript should be arranged in the following order (begin new sections on new pages).
TITLE
The title should be brief, informative, and indicate the main point(s) of the paper. It should be a maximum of 14 words and written in two languages: Indonesian and English.
AUTHORS NAME
It should be complete and without title, accompanied by the author affiliation address. The corresponding author must provide and use an e-mail address unique to themselves.
ABSTRACT
The abstract should be concise and factual. It should briefly define the purpose of the research, the principal results, and major conclusions of the work. References in the Abstract should be avoided, but if essential, then cite the author(s) and year(s). Additionally, uncommon abbreviations should be avoided, but if essential they must be defined at their first mention in the abstract itself. The abstract should not exceed 300 words and is constructed in 1 paragraph written in two languages: Indonesian and English.
KEYWORD(S)
In order to help with the electronic search, keywords should be provided around 3-5 words below the abstract. They should be arranged alphabetically.
INTRODUCTION
The Introduction section should explain:
1. The background
2. The aims
3. A summary of the existing literature
4. The reason why the study was necessary
METHODS
The methods section should include:
1. The design and setting of the study
2. The description of materials or characteristics of participants
3. A clear description of all processes and methodologies employed. Generic names should generally be used. When proprietary brands are used in research, include the brand names in parentheses
4. The type of statistical analysis used, including a power calculation if appropriate
5. If the studies involve human participants or tissue of animals, a statement on ethics approval and consent must be included
RESULT AND DISCUSSION
The findings of the study should be described properly in the results and discussion section. Statistical analysis must be included either in the text or as tables and figures. This section should discuss the implications of the findings in the context of existing research and highlight the limitations of the study.
CONCLUSION
This should state the main conclusions and provide an explanation of the importance and relevance of the study to the field. The conclusion must clearly answer the objective of the research. The conclusion has to be written in a paragraph, not in a numbered list.
ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
This section is used to acknowledge any person or institution that contributed to the article, hence does not meet the criteria for authorship (including anyone who provides professional writing services or materials). Authors should obtain permission in order to acknowledge all those mentioned in the Acknowledgements section.
REFERENCES
Please use at least 10 sources of reference that meet these criteria: 1) 60% are articles published in the journal from the last 10 years, and 2) 40% are from books, web-references, etc. Avoid using references presented on Wikipedia, personal blogs, etc. Unpublished results and personal communications are not recommended. Write the source using American Psychological Associatio (APA) 6th edition format.
Citation in text
Please ensure that every reference cited in the text is also present in the reference list (and vice versa). Avoid Citation of a reference as 'in press' implies that the item has been accepted for publication. Generally, citation in the text could be written using two methods: 1) the author(s) name and the publication year are placed inside a bracket, and 2) the author(s) name is placed outside the bracket while the year placed inside the bracket.
Web references
As a minimum, the full URL should be given and the date when the reference was last accessed. Any further information, if known (DOI, author names, dates, reference to a source publication, etc.), should also be given. Web references can be included in the reference list.
Example: AOAC. (2002). Guidelines for single laboratory validation of chemical methods for dietary supplements and botanicals. AOAC International, 1–38.
Reference management software
When preparing your manuscript, you are required to use the Mendeley Reference Manager. All publications cited in the text should be presented in a list of references in alphabetical order. Please ensure that the spelling of authors' names and dates are exactly the same in the text as in the reference list.
MATHEMATICS & EQUATIONS
Use italic for variables, bold for vector and matrices, the script for transforms, and san serif for tensors. Use superscripts and subscripts in a superior or inferior position; do not use raised and lowered fonts. Write equations in the article using the Built-in Equation provided by Microsoft Word. Please add the number of equations using the Tab Stop Position.
TABLES
Tables must be presented as editable text and not as images. Every table must have a title, and all columns must have headings. Column headings must be arranged so that their relation to the data is clear and refer to the column below. Each table must be cited in the text by defining the number table. Tables are placed next to the relevant text in the article. Please avoid using vertical rules and shading in table cells.
FIGURES
Figures must be submitted as an editable graph and not as images. Cite each figure in numerical orders in text. Clearly mark orientation on the figure, if questionable. Ensure that each illustration has a caption. Supply captions separately, not attached to the figure. A caption should comprise a brief title (not on the figure itself) and a description of the illustration. Keep text in the illustrations themselves to a minimum but explain all symbols and abbreviations used. Indicate latitude and longitude on maps. Color figures, foldouts, pocket maps, etc., can be accommodated, but the costs of color for publishing these special features must be borne by the author.
